clutch replacment in a raptor

Default clutch replacment in a raptor

Just wondering if it absolutly necessary to pull the engine to replace the clutches. thanks

No but you have to hold your tongue just right to get the bolt out at the back corner. Put that bolt in the clutch cover before you re-install it, there is no way to get the bolt in after the clutch cover is in place. Other than that bolt, it's easy to do in the frame.

It's a tight squeeze, but you can make it. You'll need to pull the sensor for the rear breaklight to make clearance, too.

I just did my first clutch on the 660 6 months ago and it was easy. Just make sure you pay attention to the clutch plate order and where the spring goes.
