Default Project Blaster

Hey everyone,
So my dilemna is that I have a Blaster frame (with a few parts on it, no engine etc..) that is being offered to me, for free. My question is, would it even be worth building up this blaster? My main use would be trails, some mx track and some sand pits, would this be a good foundation to begin with? I want something that handles nicely, and will be able to see through the duties I listed. The motor part of the equation doesn't really matter, if I go ahead with this, I'll sort that out.
Cheers,
Lewis

- I know I already posted this in the performance mod and project quad section, I'm just looking to get the most input quickly, before the opportunity disappears.

Would this be your first quad? The blaster would handle great with some extended a-arms and a +2 or 3 swingarm. For most people the blaster is a very small quad. Dont get me wrong though it would be a fun project and im sure it would be a "blast" (haha) to ride when it is finished.

There are alot of parts for blasters cheap, suspension and engine. If you use a blaster motor you can make it pretty fun. Although it will never be as fast as a 450 or banshee but fun

if its a rolling chassy in good shape it would be worth building, is there plastics/gas tank/ a seat on it?? and somtimes deals are too good to be true make sure you get the title for it. Its nice to see people from my area on this site! I live in Buckingham.

Yeah, I know it's a small quad, which is fine with me, I won't be using the blaster engine though... Looking at other 2-strokes, got a few ideas in mind.
DavidLT250S- It's rolling other than the swingarm, axel etc.. It has plastics, seat, gas tank, etc.. etc.. but for free I don't see it being a big deal. Yeah ditto, gotta get some locals on here.
Won't be able to get a title for it though.

If anyone wants to suggest some engines I'd be open for that, would be more inclined toward a 2-stroke, 4 strokes are a bit big for this project.

The stock blaster engine, or find a DT200 engine would bolt right up, or a 250 two stroke motor fronm a dirt bike. Check out MacDizzy's site.
