Default banshee or 450

i have an 03 suzuki z400 and i recently got a dirt bike and i realized my quad has like no ***** so i want to upgrade but this is a huge decision for me because im only 15 and dont have a job yet so ive narrowed it down to either the suzuki ltr450 or the yamaha banshee and i wanted some opinions i like the feel of a two strokes powerband and how much cheaper parts are for them but i dont like how much they fowl plugs (maybe ive just had bad experiences)but i like how 4 strokes have a smmother powerband with more low end grunt so id like so outside opinions im about 5'7 and 205lbs if that helps anyone with their thoughts

im in your boat to. Either keep my warrior and get it bored and get a jet kit. Or get a suzuki 400. Or a KFX-400. I would much rather have the 4 stroke than the banshee. even though the banshee is a lot faster. But im 15 to so i dont know much.

Really depends on what you are going to do with it. They are both good quads but they accel at different things.

Stay with the LTR more reliable, dont have to mix gas, like u said donthave to change plugs so often, can beat alot more quads with the 450 then you will with a banshee (if the shee is stock or mild stock) when jetting dont have to mess with both carbs to get them both dialed in correctly

well where i live im surrounded by bean and corn feilds and i have my own mini track and we have some timber but the trails arent like super tight or aynthing but i mostly will ride on the track and in the feilds and pasture so im thinkin two-stroke because i bought a suz rm250 and it hauls and i love it so im kinda leanin towards a banshee but im goin to try and ride both before i buy anything

A banshee will beat anything dollar for dollar. Just keep that in mind

- mixing gas aint so bad
- plugs arent too expesive
- beating others only matters in racing

something to think about-

$ 7000 for a ltr450

$3000 for a decent banshee, and u have 4k in your pocket...

on one side is a bone stock ltr on the other is an elka suspended, fire breathing, full race banshee

now make a choice

If you want it to feel like your two stroke bike, get the Banshee. They feel the same.

If you want fuel injection instead of two carbs that need jetted, get the 450.

Mixing gas isn't an issue. Fowling plugs isn't an issue ... once jetting is dialed in.

I asked my 16 year old son (6' tall, 160 lbs, no job ) which of these two he would want. After a minutes thought he said "I don't know". He rides a two stroke KTM bike and splits time between my YFZ and his Banshee. Too bad that survey didn't go anywhere, LOL.

As for myself, I would have to pick the 450.

Good luck.
