I haul my quads with a super cab 99 F150 but the play truck is comming a 2001 Ford Lightning. Fastest production truck. Some exhaust waork and NOS and hello, low 12's. Hey, dude sounds like you got and excellent deal. And this from a Ford guy, the transmissions are alot better on the GM.

My Raptor lives inside my Astro Van. I have a Honda Accord for a commuter vehicle, so during the week I leave the Raptor inside the Astro Van. When the weekend comes I don't even have to load it up. It's like storage on wheels!!

Loofer-
I used to be a loyal Ford man. I own a 85 F-250 also, I consided buying a new Ford F250-F350, I like the looks of the truck, but the interior was to bland. I thought I was driving a U-Haul truck and the back seat was to un comfortable. People say "Dodge has mechanical problems", But this is my second Ram and I haven't had any problems. Its always a gamble with new cars! DODGE - The Rules have changed ! Its a great Truck !!
Check out this website. It gives a reliabilty score on each vehicle and problems they have had.
The Dodge Ram has the cleanest record.

I hope you have the same luck that we had with our 89 Silverado. Over 200,000 miles of hauling lumber, bricks, quads, dirt, and anything else. The truck wouldn't die.
My 96 Dodge Ram's trans fried after pulling a carhauler once and a motorcycle traler three times. (not to mention everything else that kept breaking on it)
Currently bought a 89 F150 with the 300c.i. inline six. Another one I expect to live a LONG time.
Congrats on a wicked deal, man.

No offense, but that new Avalanche looks like something a Dodge Ram puked up. Again, no offense.
