what is a cheap easy way but something that will last a while to fix that without buying a new one

 

i used an epoxy i bought at kragen, i had a crack in a tank and i used it, hasnt leaked since that was like 2 months ago. i dont remember which one it is but i remember it was for gas tanks and once the two tubes mixed it turned into a neutral color.

 

Did that make it go faster or anything?

the crack was in the bottom of the tank so its not noticeable, but i guess if you smooth it out it wont look that bad

 

Yeah , that's where it will be , just shake it around to mix it , and no one will be able to see it if they look .

 

That's good fix, but did it just seem to run a lot slower a day or two later?

 

Aww, man! I always heard that crack kills em!
