i have the yamaha GYTR FULL SKID PLATE and love it. I would buy the prm though because my graydon proline nerf bars are on the way here and i am going to have to cut the yamaha skid so i can fit them on. I do believe i would have to do this with prm anyways, any skid that has side protection coming up. If you are going to ad nerf bars, buy the Graydon proline skidplate, it will save you all teh headaches im having.

I just bought the GYT-R skidplate yesterday and I must say it is sweet! I like the styling as compared to the aftermarkets.

Lucey,

I like the fit and finish of the GYT-R skidplates above all the manufacturers as well as the other accessories that I have on my machine.

hey ERICsRAPTOR,

Read my post above, you will have to cut your skid plate to get graydon nerfs to fit. I just did it and if you want some directions on the best way to cut it let me know, good luck!!!

I love my PRM skids. I have the chasis and swingarm. I ride mostly mountain terrain where they take ALOT of abuse. I have seen alot of the others and at a glance they just don't look as tough as the PRM. The GYT-R is the coolest looking one though.

What are you talking about. I went to the dealer and bought my skidplate for 85 bucks. That's at least 5 bucks cheaper and no shipping charge. They were selling the aftermarkets for 95.
