should be limited to 20mph i think......I would also return it.....could be a defective or stuck override switch....?

 

is there a way that i can find out what speed it should start to limit me at. And i have a warrenty on it so if there is somthing wrong with it, it should be covered. i am just fustrated because i hate it when there is something wrong with brand new stuff like this.

 

read your owners manual it might be in there

 

i checked it just says "will go the speed of the speed limiter" and thats it. do you have this type of atv. and do you think it will be covered for free

as long as your machine is still under warranty it shouldnt cost you anything, im sure someone will eventually have a definite anwser for you. i used to have a kodiak 450 but i traded it in.

i just found out that i was only going 19 across the yard real quick could this be to slow for the speed limiter to engage whil in diff lock

 

How about reverse? Can you hit the rev limiter when in reverse?
I think the rev limiter for diff lock is only in low range..try doing it in low, and see if you hit the limiter, and then press the over ride button and see if it goes away.
