banshee: twist or thumb

Default twist or thumb

when i am riding my banshee in glamis or anywhere else, quicky my thumb starts hurting like crazy,. should i buy a twist throttle kit. what are the advantages and disadvantages of having a twist throttle.

start working out [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] You should be able to push that thing all day without a prob. Check your carb slides. maybe there in rough shape.

yo JL i guess you dont know about banshees there known for the stiff thumb thorttles. i have a twist its just takes time to adjust

my buddy has 6 shees and all of them has thumbs... just work out... and ride... it will get ya in shape .. i use to get arm pump all the time... now it takes a good 6 hours+ of hard riding to do it

go with thumb its a lot better for me i have a 2 into 1 intake with one carb and it is really easy thumb i never had arm pump of course like the other guys said just work out lol wich i do all time but i think thumb is better just my opion

If you ride more eventually your hands will get use to the thumb throttle.

I came from a motorcycle background, so I greatly prefer twist throttles. I switch all of my ATV's to them. Much better in my opinion. It's all a matter of preference.

Funny, im a member of 2 (combined over 4 years) atv forums and this is the second time ive ever heard that "the thumb throttle is too hard to push" Maybe you should hit the weight room too [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

If your TORS system is removed, buy a Motion Pro throttle cable and find a thumb throttle from a 400ex or 250r. These throttles are twice as easy to use....
