#1
HAs anyone changed their wheels? I am thinking about going with the maxxis razors. I want to set-up for MX. What kind of rims should i run ? I am hard on my equipment. What will hold up to my abuse?

Joeyd, I think the stock wheels are strong enough there stronger than any of the 190 douglas or any other brand from what I have seen. There is a company that has carbon fiber wheels out and they look and are supose to be real strong but I havent seen them or heard anything from someone that has tred them. I have razors on my raptor and there great lets the quad slide better and it doesnt feel as top heavy when going into a highspeed turn.

Yeah i think i saw yours..don't you have a web page. You have them on the front and rear right? I like Maxxis as a company. I use to race downhill mt bike and they made awesome tires like The Mobster. I like to slide more. The stock tires grab too much. SO maybe i will just mopunt them on the stock rims..save some cash too. I am use to riding trekkers and turf tamers. The radials feel weird to me...

No, no web page wrong person but I do have them on mine and trust me you'll love them, if your going to race mx I get a wider axle, I am just for the durability I wouldnt wanna be launching with the stock axle. Anyway I wish my quad would get done soon I gave it to TC RACING to do some mods so hopefully soon so I can go and see how it does in the snow I will probably run my radials in the snow I think they'll provide excellent traction in the snow, have you tried yours in the snow if so how did it do?

Yeah i have a DURAblue adjustable axle on order. I think with the axle, tires and eventually a-arms i will be all set. I am not looking to race MX just riding it. I really don't have the desire to race anymore. Just looking to have lots of fun. I never liked any of the stock axles on any of the bikes. I always change the axle. I am not really going to mess with the engine that much . I have a white bros pipe on the back. I am still in the middle of adjusting that with the jetting and adding more discs to it (16). We are just getting our first snowfall today so i will let you know how they work. I imagine they are going to hook up really well though..but i like to slideeeeeeeeee
