I ordered the Scotts Steering Damper for my banshee. After waiting a couple of weeks i was informed by the dealer that Scotts no longer supplies the damper for the banshee. At 400 bucks a pop what are the people that have them are supposed to do when they need a fix?

 

I have a Scotts stabilizer on my XR650R and Scotts is very good about rebuilding the entire unit. Just skip the dealer altogether and work directly with Scotts. These dampers should have fluids changed and seals checked every few years anyway.

 

The dealer was trying to obtain the unit thru Scotts, but no deal.
