I'm looking to buy a new winch for my 05 wolverine 350. I'm not to sure which one to buy. Can you suggest which winch and mounting bracket I should buy. Does it also have a cable tensioner. Some winches have cable tensioners to keep the cable tight and from binding up. My choices are the mile marker PE2500, superwinch, & warn winch. dave

 

For a Wolverine I would suggest exactly what I have, A Warn 1.5ci with Warn's mount. The 1.5 is very light in weight, plenty powerful to "unstuck" a wolvy, and mounts up high to keep the winch out of the mud/water/trail hazards. I added Amsteel blue winch rope and a UHMW fairlead to cut the weight of the rig even more. Pics of the 1.5 on my Wolverine are in my gallery...
