Grizzly 700 Stability
#1
How stable is the new Grizzly 700 crossing side slopes compared to my 02 Kodiak 400 with a solid back axel, Yamaha claim that the centre of gravity has been lowered with the re-positioning of the petrol tank to under the seat , The seat height is also 3 inches higher than my Kodiak .

I personally think it does really well and it does feel better than the 660 Grizzly in these situations. I've owned both SRA and IRS 4x4 quads and I actually prefer IRS in that situation. Riding technique is important too when you are pushing the envelope of stability. I would highly recommend that everyone practice on a safe situation (such as on the bank of a flat trail or in a ditch where there is little danger of getting hurt or doing damage to your quad if you do lay it on it's side) with whatever it is that they ride in order to learn what you and your quad can really do...
