warrior thinking about buying

Default warrior thinking about buying

im thinking about a warrior are they good jumping quads because i dont want it to be to heavy for jumps but i dont hvae alot of money to spend any help appreciated

stock they aren't.. the fronts shocks are too stiff and don't have enough travel..

really speaking from experience here

they are a bit out dated but if thats all you can afford than thats all you can afford. I ride a 99 warrior, its a little heavy and isnt the best thing for jumping but if you enjoy than its good enough. The people I ride with all have bikes that put it to shame but you cant go wrong with the price, mine was 500 bucks.

no man i mean like im not the one who finds the cheap cheap ones what i meant is i cant afford a new 450r or something like that i really want a 300ex i just cant find one around dfw

and how did you find one so cheap i havent seen a 99 that low ever

Warriors aren't the greatest for jumping when they're stock, but then they're not that bad either. How much is your budget? Because it would cost about $450 to upgrade your shocks front and rear to make a warrior jump much nicer. All it takes is a set of works shocks up front and a rear shock from a banshee or 2001 raptor 660. Even stock it'll be considerably better for jumping than the 250ex you had, the stock shocks on those things have very little travel, and feel like landing on really stiff pogo sticks more than shocks.

well like im thinking $2100 because im gonna sell my dirtbike and ge tback into quads but i have money coming in alot i am only 14 but i could afford shocks pretty soon

i payed 3,000 for my 02 raptor with an extra set of crome itps with new dunlops on em, ramps, and a helmit. look around for a raptor, there nice
