Raptor A-arm width B.S.
#1
The Manufacturers must measure width differently. I keep reading how narrow the front of the Raptor is. I just got mine and put it front to front with my 400ex. The Raptor is 1/4" to 1/2" wider. The rear is narrower tho. Maybe that is what they are talking about? Of all the Quads I`ve owned the Raptor is very close to perfect. I think most of the bad things wrote in this forum about Raptors is from people that dont actually own one. Its a GREAT machine!

Jason,
I could not agree with you more. I did the same thing - put my raptor in front of my buddies 400ex and the raptor IS wider. So much for it being too narrow I guess. put a wider rear axle on it and your all set. Personlly I like it the way it is. The higher gearing just makes me that much faster through the trails. My friend on their 400exs really have to push to stay with it

My first impresssion is how small it felt on the Raptor, but then I realised that it was bigger than it first looked. It is very comfortable. And I never realized the size until riding with a guy that went with me Saturday on a 2001 warrior. The Raptor basically Dwarfed it in size and it makes the suspension and A Arms look huge when comparing to the Warrior.
