I know for a fact the YFZ 450 is faster on top... ive seen it. I would have to think all the 450s would be. Dont know about the new Kawie 450 or the Polaris 525 but I think they will most likely be faster.

 

I would have to disagree. My 700r pulls on my friend's 06 trx450r which is faster than the yfz450.

 

Could be, im not going to argue that fact. All I know is when we are in the dunes my buddies YFZ owns all the raptor 700s up there, and its bone stock. He is a really really good rider though, that makes as much difference as the bike itsself.

 

What I heard was that the raptor 700 would have just a tad bit more speed... They both seem like really good bikes so im not sure which ill choice if i get the money... thanks

 

i have a banshee and my bro has a 700 and he smokes me doin a wheelie no proplem we go 2 silver lake every other weekend and iv never seen eny think keep up with him his is still stock he kills every one raceing around the dunes but its not good drag raceing cause you cant keep the front end down but he took a yfz 450 with carbs and a pipe but not by a whole lot

 

Now thats a whole different game. It doesnt take much of a shee to wax a raptor 700. Any stroker or cub shee will crush a raptor. If your shee is getting beat, you need some mods.

 

even when i do some stuff to my banshee he will still be able to smoke me i just got a new clutch and ima get some toomeys t6s my brother had the shee and gave it to me when he got the 700 he used to have it bored out and every think with 110 octane in it and it blew up every time he road it and when i got it i put it back to stock and its only blown up once in a year and a half so im not doin eny think to the motor but hes beffing up the 700

 

Put a cub and a 4 mil crank in it. Then see who wins. The 700 will look like its in reverse.

Yeah ive ridden a 700. They are quick, but nothing like a nice shee. A cub is a different set of cylinders/ heads. Cubs and stroker cranks make banshees mean. You could make your shee a monster for about 1500 bucks, really a raptor has no prayer against a banshee if you are into mods.
