Does anyone have a set of aftermarket aluminum wheels on their Wolverine 450? I am interested in upgrading to a set but it seems that there isn't a whole lot to choose from.

Also, how about tires? What is everyone using?

Please note, before replying that I want to keep the stock size:
23x8x12"
and
23x10x12"

Thanks in advance!!

Yep, that's for sure.

I am on the fence and leaning towards ordering a set of Titan 489 tires. I just need to think it over to be sure.

How about wheels now? What is everone using? 12x7 should be a common enough size to get some feedback from you guys. Thanks!

Ill let you know, my friend at yamaha has some cool black ones on his right now. the only problem he has is the offset is different so the stock tires he has on with the wheels throw mud and dirt on him more than before. I will let you know what kind they are.

He has a white wolvy like mine and they look great.

getting my itp c series type 7 polished wheels put on my 06' in less than 3 weeks . they will be the stock size & i will also be using the stock tires.i only have 1.1 miles on my wolvie.i will post pics after i get them. have to wait for the install as i am getting the front & rear push / grab bars chromed right now. also getting braided hose for the brakes installed. the proper way on the front brake especially. i will have 2 lines running off the master cylinder with a seperate line going to each caliper.such a vast improvement over stock lines i feel. same way we run all our drag bikes as well.

That sounds good! I know the front size is 12x6" and the rear is 12x7.5" for the wheels. I know that the stock wheels are lightweight aluminum and I don't -need- to replace them but I want something that looks nicer. Let me know if you can actually get the ITP wheels in those sizes and not the 'normal' 12x7" that most companies sell. Yes, please do post up some pics once you get them.

I think the chrome will look great on the bars. I have added the front and rear GYTR bars and some other goodies.

Here is a picture of mine with the mods so far:

I like the brake hose idea as well. It seems the front brakes are a little mushy for sure. Maybe better pads will make the feel better as well..?

It's a HMF Sport pipe setup. It came with the larger main jet(Mikuni) and I needed to tweek the fuel screw just a tad. It is way louder for sure but it made it run WAY better. I also just installed a K&N filter (just tonight) and have not had time to ride it since then. Don't want to pi$$ the wife off since it's late here. lol

I am going to install a clutch kit as well and I think I should be happy for a little while anyways.

I put a set of paddles on. I got ITP C series rims amd 23x10.5x12 Paddle Haulers. You need the 12' rims to clear the brakes. I also got the 2" off-set, so the rear is 4" wider for the dunes. I will be getting another full set for the stock tires, but it will be 0 off-set.
I will work on putting up some pics soon.
