I just bought 07 yfz, my first one and it has the bog that everybody is talking about. I bought a yoshi rs7, jet kit, and needle adjustment screw. Do I have to mess with the throttle adjustment sensor. some say yes, some say no. I cant take it to are local shop, I woulnt let them work on my bicycle. thanx

 

Get your aftermarket stuff on and then do the cam mod. After this then jet bike and you will be amazed at how it wakes up all the way through.

There have been enough of them done, if you search on this site or internet I'm sure you can find instructions. First time we did it was off the internet.

Okay, so i put the pipe in ,k-n, jet kit w / ajustable needle and the thing still runs like crap ! its way more responsive if i have the choke half on . i put a 150 main jet in it like the book said, maybe i need bigger ????????

 

I would say it sounds like a bigger jet. We always had to rejet but never stayed with what the kits said. To many differances in where or what conditions between reality and their test. You got the cam mod done? Get the jetting right and you will be amazed. I think I have seen on here someone had a 170 jet in theirs.

 

hey ,im getting ready too start the cam in a minute, gonna be a long night. I got a dyna jet kit cause it was the only thing i could find quickly, and the biggest main jet is a 165 so i think i might try that one and see what it does. I put it all back together a little bit ago and now the headlights wont come on ,,,, one thing after another????????

 

Is the cam mod gonna make me lose low end ???????????
