You could take one on no problem...

But I wouldn't put any money on a race that isn't in reverse.

If the 400ex is just Piped and jetted you should be able to take it in a drag with your mods no problem. Anywhere else your gonna have a problem.

With all your mods you will take him off botton end for sure warriors and 400exs are close on bottom anyways its just the mid to top is were the 400ex normaly is gonna take it but as i said you should have this in tha bag with your mods your probaly pushing close to 27-30 horse bhp which is same ball park as the ex.

Yeah, I think you could take on a stock one, or one that has just a pipe/jet kit. You're gonna have to give it all its got, though. It may even come down to who's the best rider. I have a '97 Warrior with a Curtis Sparks pipe, K&N, Jet kit, ported & polished head, larger Kibblewhite valves, 84 grind Webcam, and its bored 80 over with a JE 10.5/1 Compression piston. Im running stock gearing on the rear with a plus 1 tooth gear in the front with 20" rear tires. I drag raced an experienced racer on a 400 EX with the usual pipe, filter, etc. and a 416 big bore kit running racing fuel, and beat him 3 out of 4 times. It pretty much came down to whoever got the holeshot. We were right there together the whole time and if I had a smaller front sprocket I probably wouldve gotten him every time.
