I have a problem with my raptor 700R, the symptom was it didn?t want to start. I checked plug and it seemed to have some carbon on it. I also made sure it had fire when put next to the block of the motor. Only recent mods were HMF exhaust and TBI commander. I bypassed the TBI and no change. I checked the oil and it seemed to be a little high, so I decided to take some of it out, upon doing so I noticed the oil had gas mixed with it. Since then, I changed the oil and spark plug. It started right up after doing this, I let it idle for 20 min and checked the oil again. Can?t really tell if there is fuel getting in the oil again, but I think it might have been flooded from me trying to start it so much? When changing the oil out after noticing the gas was present, it looked pretty dark. Could this just be from the residual oil left throughout the engine? Should I go ahead and change the oil one more time and ride it to see if the gas comes back? Or what could cause this?

 

well only things i can think of...

is either antifreeze in the oil...
or it's running super rich and fuel is getting into the oil

 

I dont believe antifreeze is getting in the oil. but I do think its running pretty rich. I looked at the spark plug after the 20-30 min run at idle and it lookded pretty good.
