I've seen some of the other guys on the youth quad forum talk about an exhaust restriction on the raptor 80 near the cylinder head...is this true and is it removable? I know it has an airbox restrictor plate and i have removed that already. I dont really want to mod it too much because my son will not be riding it maybe 1-2 more years. Thanks all.

 

my son had a raptor 80 I dont no about any restriction in the pipe othe than the spark arestor
and if u take it off it wont make any noticable power! oh and dont waste any money
on after market either Trust me!

sell it and get him a pre2003 blaster "no red sticker" my kid loves his and there cheap to fix up
I have a z 400 also! and with just a pipe and air clraner and jetting mod on his blaster he can almost keep up with my Z!
