Default Trade in value????

Hey Guey... I am looking to trade in my yamaha raptor 660. Its a 2002, and in real good shape. Any idea of what a fair trade in value?? Thanks alot .

I would be very surprised if a dealer gave you $3K in trade in on your 2002 raptor, the older raptors value has dropped a good bit since the newer model came out. I would guess around $1500 to $2000 on trade in, check with kelly blue book value on trade in.....it will probably give you a ballpark figure.

I just looked on KBB.com and trade in value for 2002 raptor is $2375, you would probably do better to sell it yourself. How long have you had it, and what did you pay for it? Also, just curious what are wanting to upgrade too.

NADA.com lists it for $3425 in average condition. Sell it yourself, give yourself a bigger down payment on new raptor instead of letting dealer have free money.

Run it by the dealer and see what he'll give you for it. Anything you get over that is more money for the down payment.

And if someone were to come by and offer less than the dealer, you know then not to make that deal.
