hey guys watsup im wondering wat to buy a 350 rappy or z400... most ppl say the z400..im 13 110 pounds 5'5 or 5'6... i had a 250ex but im selling it i had it for a month in a half and i was pretty good on it im not a (NOOB). do you think i can sell my 250ex for 3000+ barely any hours under 10? If i were to get a rappy which is sweet i would maybe do somwe engine work like bore out jet kit maybe exhaust airbox or if i get a Z400 i will most likely keep it stock and im buying a used one maybe...what other things can i do to the rappy? which one should i get? i will be doing trail riding.. top speed of rappy with mods?? also dont forget im in a growing stage thanku everyone =)

What year 250ex? Any mods?
You will outgrow a 350 real quick if a 250 was easy for you to ride. You would be far better off going straight to the 400. Consider a 400ex too, excellent quad and then you can stay with a honda (assuming you liked the 250). ex's are tanks, its very hard to break one if you keep the oil changed.

I ride with older guys with older 220, 250, 350 and the younger guys with new 400, 450, but with a few cheap mods with a die grinder, and heat gun and you will be king in the woods with the 350, because of its size, tuning radius and no radiator or oil hoses to get torn off in the woods, in a drag race the 450s will beat you every time by about 6 bike lenths, and on a big open track the 400 and 450 are faster

I already replied to your doup topic in the honda fourm but since neither of those bikes are honda ill copy what I wrote before here
I say go for the Raptor. I have a Wolverine 350 with a good deal of mods. and one of my good friends has a warrior thats pretty highly modded. Forgetting power I think the physical size of the Z400 would be a bit big for your stature. the raptor is relatively compact but still has room for you to grow as me and my friend are both 6ft the 180s with no size issues at all. A lot of people talk about the biggest and baddest quad but when it comes down to it in 95% of riding situations the faster guy is the better rider not the better quad. there are also endless mods available for the 350 the powerplant has been around since 87 or so I belive. Its tough as nails and versitile and at 13 will be plenty to get you started. I got my wolverine when I was 14 and 140lbs so your not far off from that. you will be a better rider in the long run if you master the 350 in all situations then later down the road if you decide you need it, move up to a z400 or one of the 450s or big bores. Where do you live what kind of riding do you do, open trails, pits, tight woods, etc etc that has somthing to do with what you will need. let me know if you have any more questions I might be able to answer
heres my wolvy 350
