Default 01 wolverine help

hello all,

ive got a 2001 wovlerine that i purchased new about a year ago. Here about a week ago i decided i needed a little bigger tire than stock so i ordered a set of 26" mudlites on ss112 rims. I also ordered a cfm 2" lift kit. I got the tires on and they fit without the lift and it lifted the wheeler up quite a bit. Now im not sure if i should put the lift on as well. Also i noticed my low end power was shot and the handling was out the window as well. Im not sure exactly what all has been done to this wheeler before i bought it. it has a white brothers exhaust, uni air filter with holes drilled in the lid. i also understand this dont mean anything but it has wiseco piston stickers on the fenders. Im tryinh yo figure out what all i can do to get some low end throttle response back. I dont know if the carb has been jetted or not. If not what size should i put in there? I know this is alot of information here but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all the help.

26's are pretty big for a wolverine. I've heard Mudlites run a little smaller though, but I'm sure it increased your ground clearance a noticeable amount. I've thought about the lift kit, but have decided against it. It supposedly speeds up the wear on your driveline, but also will definitely affect the handling negatively.

As for the low-end, I just bought some EPI clutch springs, haven't installed them yet, but they should help your low-end with those big lugs. If you do a little looking around here, you'll see what people have had good experience with.
