Default Changing Blaster Hubs

I need to change the rear hub on my Blaster and I need help taking off the castle nut. I can't get the thing to budge and I also think I am slowly starting to strip it as well. Also what socket are you supposed to use? A 22mm or a 7/8" socket?

The thing is that I am already stripping the castle nut and I can't even turn it. I do have an impact gun, but I am afraid that I'd strip it even more
