For those that might have missed this when I posted it before here it is again. You can order the Yamaha OEM shop manual ($59.95)from.....

http://www.motocom.com

You can also get the oem microfiche which has the schematics and all the part numbers ($14.95). you will need to locate a reader at a library or college. If you can find one that can print from the reader you have it made.

yes, this is the place but if you read closely the raptor oem service manuals are on backorder.
I talked to yamaha today and they are having problems with the printing company and we are looking at 4-6 more weeks!!! The reason the dealers all have a copy of the raptor manual is because yamaha printed enough for dealers only so that they could release the raptor. hope this helps

The dealer I went to that had a book would not let me copy the book. They hardly let me look at it. That dealer would not get one cent of my business even if they were the only one. They are also the dealer that wanted an arm and a leg to adjust my valves. They also tried to tell me they had to remove the cam to adjust the valves. I am told they are the number two volume dealer in the state of Texas and their other dealer is number one. Scares me to think about that.

There is a note in their site saying that the Raptor manual is on backorder.
