maybe its just me but today i put on a k&n lid on my filter box and i kinda noticed a decrease in power. do you think this is possible? i had it wide open before. im a noob

 

In my opinion the k&n airbox lids are a flat-out scam. There's really no benefit to them. And logic would say that having 2 air filters instead of one is going to be twice the restriction, and that results in a decrease in power. They may flow a little better than having the regular airbox lid on, but definitely not as good as when the airbox is opened up all the way.
