It wont hurt anything to ride with the baffle out. As far as the sprocket goes, I wouldnt jump from a 13 to a 17 - maybe that was a mistype and you meant to say 14. Anyway if you go up 1 tooth in the front it will give you a little more top end speed, but will take away from your bottom end power. I personally wouldnt recommend it if you have a stock motor. Im running a 14 tooth on the front of mine with a built motor and stock rear gearing and its good for all around trail riding.

Cool! I just know sometimes I wish I had a 13 on the front of mine even now. Just when I need a lot of bottom end power. I took the baffle out of my Raptor 660 two days after I bought it new. I rode it like that till the day it got gone 1 1/2 years later with no problems.

I would reply to your post but I can't understand it.

Seriously guy's I don't think I'm asking for much here. I'm not saying the entire post as to be spell checked or in nice paragraph forum but cheese and rice this is getting out of hand.

Amen to that.

I have a 96 Warrior, same damn thing, no baffle for 8+ years, no problems, no rejetting.

Leave the stock 13T sprocket on there. 17T??? Not even sure they make one anyways, the largest I've heard of for a front, on any machine is a 16T. I know the FST 500 Warrior that was in DirtWheels awhile back used a 16T.

Just checked RockyMtnATV, the largest front they sell is a 15T.
