Default 700 Grizzly Air Filter

I had a look at the air filter on my 700 Grizzly today; it's now done 50 hours and it looked quite clean but was very dry because all the oil had run out into the air box so I decided to wash the filter out using filter cleaner, let it dry and re-oiled it using Morris Race Foam air Filter Oil. The Grizzly hand book specifies Foam air filter oil yet it seems to have come from the factory treated with ordinary engine oil, what do you Guys use to oil your air filter? And do you think that tacky foam air filter would restrict the flow of air into the engine.

Default 700 Grizzly Air Filter

I pulled my air filter before any riding when brand new and I noticed the same situation with very thin and not much regular oil. There was more oil in air box drain than on the filter. So first thing I re-oiled with tacky foam filter oil. For the first few rides after oiling it is always slightly harder starting but it is worth it for my peace of mind.
