I have climbed some monster hills and the front end comes up every time (almost causing a bad crash!) I think I need a longer swingarm, maybe a +2? Who has them AVAILABLE NOW with no wait for a raptor? What to get +2? I ride in the woods alot and climb some big hills and plan on racing gncc with it.

The nice people at Hy-Tech-ATV 1(800)442-1288 told me they just finshed their +4 ext swingarm for the Raptor, and will build custom ones up to +10. They don't use the factory carrier but maybe worth a call, very nice people. Just got my Durablue axel from them, $289.00 and it came in 3 days

I just called lonestar and they are on about a month waiting. They told me that I would have to get a different rear shock or have mine revalved for an extended swingarm...

I am having a +4 inch swing arm put on next week by Top Dog Racing in Port. Or.. They are made locally with chromoly and include billet Honda style carrier with tapered bearings, chain slider, bushings, bolt and powdercoat(std) or chrome is extra. They cost $650 and can be made any length. The phone is 503-775-0524 and ask for Sean. They also have a-arms from the same source. I am having shock work done locally to to match. Good Luck!

Let me know what you think about it when you get it. I was looking real close at the lsr swing arm, but I would like to stay local if possible to. LRD still has my raptor, I am hoping to be getting it back in 2-3 weeks. I am definatly going to go longer on the swingarm, it was a wheelie monster stock, can't imagine what it will be when I get it back

My lonestar axle will be here in 2 days and dseater already has his. Would we be able to reuse our Lonestar axle, or are we screwed and have to buy a new one if we go with an extended swingarm and it doesn't take the stock carrier?

bash, I already asked LS about this before I ordered my axle and Yes you can use your axle with the longer swingarm even with the different carrier they are using the honda style carrier but its made for the raptor axle, so the answer is yes!

dseater, Try K@k ATV or motojoe I do believe I talked to both of them and they said 1week for LS swingarms. You might wanna wait to see what I end up getting them for, but if your in a hurry which I do understand because I hate waiting try one of these 2 shops.

MotoJoe page says that all the LS extended swing-arms use the factory carrier. Does this mean that you can use the axle carrier if you desire to?

I talked to Ls and they told me that they are using a honda style carrier but the stock axle will fit or if you already have a LS axle it works also so I dont think you can use the stock carrier.
