Make sure the slides are clean. If your air filter is not tight then sand will get into your slides.

I went to silver lake sand dunes and had my throttle stick too. It was an improperly prepared air filter had my slides full of sand which caused them to stick. One remedy I learned the second time out was panty hose over your filter helps stop some of the sand. I also started putting a film of grease around the filter where it seats againts the air box.

Common problem with shees. Most times when pods are being used, they have been oiled with the wrong oil and it gets through the filter, and on the slides, gums them up and they stick. Im not saying you did that, but make sure you check that, and only use the correct oil for the type of filter.

There has to be a reason why your slide is sticking. Take it apart and look.

& you're running the airbox? I had a prob with my K&N where there was a small gap behind the Pro Flow adapter plate & would suck sand in. I made a gasket out of an old bmx inner tube & sealed that plate & airbox really good. Make sure your cable isn't pinched anywhere. Take the carb top off, make sure the spring is pushing that slide back down & while you're at it give is a good spraydown with carb cleaner.
