How do i bleed my lines
i am installing a new rotor and pair of brake pads and i am not able to compress the piston enough to fit my pads around the disk so i think i need to bleed the lines. can someone tell me how to empty and fill my lines... i have a raptor 660.. any help will be appreciated

Just open the bleeder, push the piston in and then close it once the caliper is mounted. That is the way it should be done anyway. Don't worry you will lose a bit of fluid out of the bleeder but just as long as you don't work the brake lever with the bleeder open you won't take any air in and need to bleed the brakes.

How do i bleed my lines
i got them off of rocky mountain they seem to be the same size as the old ones (but of coarse i cant tell the thickness because the old ones are down to the metal) the rotor seams to be a bit thicker but i figured its because its brand new... is it possible that rocky mountain only goes by if it will fit not if it will work? i don't know any ideas?

Brake pads don't usually wear all the way out to the complete edge on a rotor by design.
Are the edges of the new and old rotors the same thickness?
Are you sure the piston is pressed in all the way?
How much too thick are they? I have seen some EBC brake pads come a little too thick and need sanded down to fit properly.
If all else fails I would call RM to make sure the pads and the rotor are the correct part numbers.
Good luck.

no the new rotor is thicker but my brother (stupid) ran it for a few days on pads that had no pads so metal on metal, then he told me it was making a bad sound when he was braking... so i bought new pads installed them he went out for a whole day ride the fallowing day i installed them and when he got back 0 pad left... so i knoticed that the rotor was i bit bent got a new one new pads and this is what is happening
1. i know the piston is in ( i even drained the lines to inshore it was
2. i dont know how much thicker or even if they are because i have nothing to compare to
3. Here are the links for both the products Brake Pads Rotor

Sand the pads. Take a little off evenly on both pads. I have had to do this in the past as well. Using a figure 8 pattern on a piece of course sand paper on a flat counter top will have you riding again in no time at all. After having to do this twice on my Banshee I've never had to do it again.
