Default Gettin a New Griz!

Well I've talked about it a bunch of times, went to the dealer and sat on all the different bikes I was interested in, asked forum opinions and read countless magazine articles. The verdict is in. Grizzly 700.
Assuming my bonus covers the remaining balance on the gixxer, I'll be ready to pick up a griz as soon as next weekend. All I want to do now is pick a color. It's between green and hunter camo. I like the camo cause it is a more scratch resistant plastic, but the green looks pretty mean. Also, I might be thinking about the outdoorman edition if I go with camo, cause I really would like that trunk and fender flares. I was curious though, anybody with the fender flares have anything to say about em? I like the added protection but I'm afraid I won't be able to see my tires anymore (when I want to see if I'm slipping or whatever). Plus its a big bike to begin with, and I dont want it rubbing up on trees in tight areas.

Anyway, I'd like to know what everybody thinks, colors and about the flares. Thx guys!

I've got the green and really like it! I wouldn't worry about fender flares unless you are going to larger tires. It's a nice machine you'll have fun.

I've got the Ducks Unlimited version... (trunk and over fenders) I love the camo color... and the fenders really help to keep the mud off... By the time I'm checkin to see if I'm slipping, I'm standing up and leaning or turning the tires anyways... so I can always see them... The power stearing really helps make up up for the wider stance...

theres a grizz in the showroom at local dealer with the grey blackish colour. it looks pretty sweet but i think its just paint so if it scratched it would show.

I went with Camo, but I saw a green one yeasterday and thought it was good looking. I thought about the over fenders but I decided the bike was wide enough as is. A guy can get into some pretty tight spots.

I'm still not sure. It's definately between those two colors. I like the green a lot, and I'm thinking now that I won't bother with the overfenders, at least not yet. If I want to I can always add them later. I'll have to see how wide it feels without them, and run it through some trails to see if it would be a problem to have it any wider. The camo is nice and I do like the scratch resistance, but I'll have to take a look at it again in person to see how well I like the pattern. Anyway I'll keep you guys posted. Thx for the input.
