The white brothers cdi is made by procom. Procom has a pretty bad reputation, from what i've seen before it's common for them to burn out in less than a year. Another design flaw, is if the battery isn't 100% charged, the cdi won't generate a spark for whatever reason.

I'm not a raptor guru like some of the guys on here. I think there is a way to remove the reverse rev limiter by splicing or cutting some wires (or something like that), but I don't know exactly.
For a good CDI, Dynatek makes some awesome units that give nice power gains, as well as having the option of being programmable to make your own power curves, set your rev limiter, etc. They're not as cheap as the cheap chinese-taiwanese things, but they're well worth the money.
