1. can i take the link out(the thing that connects the shock and swing arm in the rear) or is that just a stupid idea?

2. a month or so ago this guy had a web page all about technical stuff on the warrior if anyone knows the site please give me the adress, thanks

The link is a crutcial part of your suspension. The Yamaha engineers put it there for a reason. Progressive suspension is more efficent than suspension without linkage. Very important, and if you remove it, liable to do some very serious and expensive damage to your swingarm and shock.
