Default Chain and skid plate?????

Ok, I see what you're saying now.

Is this a new skid plate or is it old and bent up? Pictures will surely help as well.

do you have your lower chain roller on? that may let the chain go down and hit the skid plate. maybe the chain is thicker than the other

Adding spacers is about your only choice. Thats a shame really. Looks like a well constructed skid plate, unfortunate that it's causing these clearance issues for you.

Yeah, not many options here since you don't know what kind of skid plate it is. If you knew for sure what it was you could contact the manufacturer and see what they have to say about it. It looks like a PRM to me, but I've seen prms on raptors before and they fit perfectly.

Maybe the rear sprocket has been changed out to a bigger one and it lets the chain sit too close to the skid plate, I would check the teeth on it and see what the factory one is suspossed to have on it. If it is the factory one then that part is eliminated and it would have to be a problem with the skid plate not being spaced from the swing arm.

I though of the same thing as well, but looking at the pictures, that sprocket looks to be the stock size or very close to it. If that thing was much smaller in diameter the chain would be hitting the hub and bolts.
