660 raptor will not start Please help...
My buddy rushed into things and bought a 660 raptor recently. It was used VERY CHEAP and they said it needed a new battery. Well the battery hasnt came in yet so we tried something that should make it start in this case. We tried jumping it, and it wouldnt even turn over. Please help me out. Thanks'

well there is a fuse on it did you look at that? you can by-pass the solenoid so see if that is it? does the lights come on?
the second thing i would do it get a volt meter and test right at the terminal on the starter motor and gound that will tell you if you are getting electrical flow. if not, i would start there and work my way back to the battery.
good luck!!

does any of the lights on the display come on? the green neutral, Red reverse or temp light when you turn the key? if you hit the breaks, does the break light come on?
i went riding this week end and my raptor would not start. i found that the postive on the battery came loose. thank god it was an easy fix i was in the middle of the mountians with a 40 mile walk back.
