I live in Northeastern PA. Three of my friends I ride with, ages 14-16, have raced in harescrambles. One took place about 15mins. away from my house, in a town called Nanticoke or Plymouth. Another took place about 1hr 30mins away. I did not go to either, but you have to join with AMA Racing, pay a fee to race, have proper gear, and pay for parking. Comes close to $100 for your 1st time, since you have to pay to join AMA Racing Club.

There is also a MX track up at Jack Frost, it is a skiing mountain, and has a BMX and ATV MX Track. I never was up there, but my friends have told me about it. I don't know if they have races or if it is just a track to ride around on and have fun. I don't know of any other MX tracks, that have actual races on. I know of a really nice track for MX Bikes, but ATVs can also come also, it is just for fun and practice though. Doesn't cost anything to ride, and no one watches, it really isn't owned by anyone. It is called Black Diamond, and is located 15mins. from where I live, in a city called Kingston.

300exPaul, Congrats your in the right place to race Pa is loaded with tracks. You can race the district 5 tracks/series the tracks include Pleasure Valley/Johnstown Pa off of rt 22, Steel City/delmont pa off of rt 66, Field of Dreams/Boswell pa near Gennerstown off of rt 30, Challenger raceway/Clarksburgh pa near indiana pa, Brownsville Pa near rt 70, HighPoint Raceway also down 70 then 79 exit 1 mt morris exit, also there is a track in Butler Pa that you can practice at it called Switchback its off of rt 8, there are tons of other tracks also those are just district 5 tracks thats the district I raced when I was racing Mx bikes for years. Since your only 14 your dad/mom will have to be there to sign a release for you ever race also you will need to get a AMA card and a district card you can purchase both of these at the track so if your in Western Pa I would race district 5, nice tracks 2 national tracks Steel City and HighPoint although one downside the sport is growing fast so alot of your day will be sitting around waiting to race you should get at the track around 7am to get set up and register practice is around 9 or 9:30am you'll race 2 motos and your usually there untill dark it makes for a long day just to race two 4 lap motos. Another alternative is to race harescrambles/cross country you race for 1-2 hours straight and then your done so you get alot more riding time and your not sitting around all day, unfortunatley this is through the woods and not on a track so if you wanna race tracks your kinda forced to sit around all day waiting to race! Well good luck and have fun
