about a month ago i bough a brand new 06 wolverine. on my third ride out, i snapped the rear axle in half. i hit a small jump and when i landed it broke. has anyone else experienced this? is there any kind of aftermarket upgrade? thanks.

I jump my 03 Wolverine, every time it scares the crap otta me,I should pay attention to those signs on the trails that say "bump"..It's a bit of a beast to go airborne..And I use to jump doubles on my yz450f all the time and not even think about it lol..

i would say the tires were about 3 feet off the ground. luckily i have the yamaha warranty, and they replaced it, but now im worried to do anything with it.

by the way yamaha06, do you have a picture of the led clear tail, and where did you get it?

thanks.

I have jumped my Kodiak maybe 2' of so off the ground with the big wheels many times and had no problems.

Are your shocks adjustable like the Kodiak? Make sure they are adjusted properly for jumping or you could have more problems.

should they be adjusted to be stiffer? i know its not a sport quad but i figured it could handle some smaller jumps. im just tellling myself it was a factory defect (crossing fingers).
