i have a kx 85 but i want to buy a 1998 yamaha warrior 350 but which one is faster

how could i make the yamaha warrior 350
all i want to spend is under 300 dollar in after maket parts

 

the kx is really light the warrior is really heavy.the warrior has more horse power but the power to wieght ratio is really going to help out the kx.with the same wieght rider on both my money is on the kx from a standing start drag race.the question is do you want to ride a dirt bike or a 4 wheeler,or both.or you could sell the kx and have some cash to make the warrior faster.

 

They would probably both be close in top speed at around 60 - 65mph, but the KX will kick the Warrior's a$$ in getting there.

 

agreed, don't buy a warrior if you want top speed though. they really are tanks, but theyre not the fastest quads ever. if you want something fun to ride around on that pretty fast, keep your kx, when you want to ride something in the woods through some rougher stuff, go for the warrior. warriors are rock solid machines
