YFZ sprocket change

Default YFZ sprocket change

i am currently running a stock gearing i want more top end so i was thinking about replacing the stock 14t front sprocket with a 15t but i dont know if i do change the sprocket will i have to take the sprocket guard off?

STOP CALLING IT TOP END, ITS CALLED TOP SPEED!!!!this is so annoying, you wont gain any power in the upper rpm's OR IN ANY RPM AT ALL by changing the sprockets, GET A PIPE AND CDI

dude chill out i was referring to top speed i already have a pipe and a cam so i need to use that power so i need a bigger front sprocket for more top speed

the answer to your question is no I run a 15 tooth on my 07 and have no issues but a 16 tooth is a whole other story.Damn it all to hell!
