Start with the easy things first, clean air filter, change plugs, drain the gas and add some new gas, and drain the carbs too, there are tubes running out the bottom, and a small screw near the carb bowl, open it up and that will drain the carbs.

 

you probably already checked this, but make sure you have fuel and that the fuel petcock is in the "on" position.
