raptor 700 handlebars
#1
Hello, Im putting new bars on my raptor 700...they arent stock bars, so the plastic where the key swtich is doesn't fit. So i guess my question is, how have all of you gone about mounting the key switch? any ideas, or pictures would be great. thanks in advance.

Most common thing Ive seen people do is add the Dr. D reverse kit and then put the key where the reverse **** used to be.
There are also different clamps you can buy that come with a key hole built in. I have the Trail Tech dash with the Vapor in it and it looks nice. I think they have dashes that dont hold the computer as well. There are other companies that make dashes as well.

wow, i like your ride...I kinda looked around and didn't find much, other then the trail tech stuff. I just want somehting simple with the key hole that wont cost me an arm and a leg...im thinking about going the Dr. D route...from what i read about it, it seems nice to have. If you knwo anymore info that would be great...Do you know if you shift into reverse the same way, like being in first, then going into reverse, i would assume so...thanks for all help again.

Here is another dash panel that is fairly cheap that might be whgat you are looking for.
Rox Speed
To answer the question about the handguards. I put some spacers and raised the parking brake about a 1/2 inch. I still have to rotate the handguard down some to apply it but the spacers allow it to clear the mounting bracket.
Power-Madd also makes a adapter for the parking brake as well as Rox speed (see link above)
