I have a problem with my banshee. It was running great the other day, then all of a sudden it just dropped to an idle even if I was on the throttle. Now i can't get it to rev up. I have cleaned the flywheel magnets, cleaned the carbs, put in new plugs, checked the air filter to no help. My spark seems to be weak. It has enough to run at idle, and even start with one kick, but it won't rev up when I open the throttle. Could it be my cdi box? Any help would be appreciated.

 

if you still have your TORS, I would be willing to bet that's what's giving you your problem.

 

the TORS on the machine is still there, but it is all unhooked. I just bought it and it ran good for about an hour and then all of a sudden if just dropped to an idle

 

Take the e-brake off?

 

idk but one of my friends had the same problem with his banshee and he put new jets in the carb and now it runs great

 

i just got it fixed after a while of looking over it and trying things. the e-brake wasn't on, but the switch had gone bad and was cutting the ignition. thanks a lot for the help
