I was just wondering which of this quads would be faster in drag race. And on trails.

 

i raced some guy who had a blaster with my wifes warrior, and i beat him at the sand drags. as for the trails,, i dont know.

 

stock for stock i think the blaster would take the 350 beings its a 2 stroke and has the extra gear

 

Stock for stock the Raptor 350 is faster all around. When you get on the trails its up to the driver as to who is faster! Mdebuck, the Raptor 350/Warrior has 6 gears just like the Blaster.

 

my mistake i could have sworn my friend said they had 5 gears with reverse but i just checked yamahas site and they say 6 gears with reverse my bad man well you may be right about the stock for stock but i stil have my faith in the 2 strokes

well you still might be correct stock for stock. my wifes warrior has a white bros pipe, and rejeted. the blaster i went up against had an aftermarket pipe too, brand i dont know. but we raced in the sand. but if we were both stock,, you might be right.

i like 2 strokes too, i really wanted a 2 stroke. but the tree hugging liberal state of california restricts the times of year you can legally ride a 2 stroke by issuing red stickers (limited riding) and green stickers for unlimited riding which are 99% given to 4 strokes. so i settled for a raptor 660 but really wanted a banchee.

 

have u ever been to glamis stnggt350? banshee's are pretty bad as in bada$$ that must suck in california...isn't that y they discontinued the blaster and banshee ??

 

no i have not been to glamis. but great area i heard. i been to dumont several times that is good place too. as far as discounts for 2 strokes,, i dont know. but you go to the yamaha shop here, there is about 20 4 strokes on the floor and 1 or 2: 2 strokes. but there are dozens of them in the papers too. most people who ride on public land (goverment) ride 4 strokes due to the laws emmisons. if i lived in another state, i would have bought a 2 stroke.
