i was replacing my brake lines with plus two fast line brake lines, i also added plus two inch arms, well any way, i can't seem to bleed the lines, i have done it time and time again on other quads, but this time the master cylinder dot seem to pump up, it will not push fluid to the calipers.i took the line off of the master cylinder and after about 20 pumps it built pressure but i hooked it back up to the line and tried to bleed the lines but it will not push fluid to the calipers, is there a special way to bleed the master cylinder? any body had similar trouble?

I have fastline brake lines but have yet to install them. I am still waiting for the A-Arms.

The dealer told me the best way to bleed them is to fill the master cylinder and let them gravity feed over night then start the process. They said it will take alot of patience. They said if I did not want to do it myself they had a pump.

Hope this helps.

the easiest way is to buy a bleeder kit, you simply pump it and it pulls out the air, most automotive stores sale them, they are about $30. Yesterday upon putting my brothers banshee back together after powdercoating the frame we had to bleed his brakes, pumped and pumped tried the gravity bleed and nothing, got out my bleeder and had it in 2 minutes! Mine is called a mighty vac. I got it at wal mart.

Why go with SS or Kevlar lines on a ATV?

when extending the length of a-arms, it is nessasary to extend the brake lines, plus i felt the brakes were mushy feeling anyway, after market brake lines do not swell wike stock rubber lines when pressure is applied , allowing more firmer feel and improved braking
