NOTICE---'07 Raptor 350 Cam is Different
I bought a Powroll .430 "Race" cam (Web) for my Raptor and been going through hell trying to get it figured out. Called Powroll and talked to them and here's what I found out:
Warrior cams have the bushing on the end welded on, 04-06 Raptors have the bushing snap-ringed on. Both have needle bearings on the end of the cam.
Well, my '07 isn't like either of them. It doesn't have a bushing at all and no needle bearings like the previous years. I have ball bearings on both ends of my cam. Neither Web or Powroll knew this. I'm sending my cam and the "Race" cam to them at their cost and they will hard weld and regrind my cam at dealer's cost and make a templet of it. The bad thing is I will be down for quite awhile now.
