lol gary, if you didnt actually look at his sig. he doesnt have a sportsman. but hey bberck, how do you like the change? how do the chevy and ford trucks compare?

Well Ive only had the truck for less than a week and this is my first diesel so not really comparing same types.

I really like it so far and Im looking forward to getting my camper out with it. I think thats when Ill notice the biggest gain. My chevy 6.0 gas burner 3/4 ton pulled the camper pretty good but mileage was terrible.

Pulling my 16 foot cargo trailer is not noticeable behind either truck. Only time I can tell a difference is on the highway going up a big hill the chevy would rev much higher.

I averaged 12 mpg on first full tank which involved pulling cargo trailer around town, running errands and just riding around town, and a short trip on a country highway. I couldnt get 12 mpg out of the chevy empty on the interstate.
