Went to a mud bog 3 weeks ago.Did awsome first run beat the other guy side by side, then went in again again beat another person third time in my bear was spittin and spudderin but I beat that person as well. Then I was going in for the final heat and got beat by a can am only because my machine wasn't running well.I thought it might have been mud in the carb but I have a snorkle and no mud in the air box.It was pouring outside I did have dieelectric grease in the sparkplug boot.Any way it today still has the problem when taking off and threw out shifting it sputters and pops threw the carb I drain the carb to see if there was water. It still runs like crap.It only when its at low rpm's if I crank on it it seems to run fine any one have this probles before or any suggestions.Thanks.Shawn

Check your carb vent tube and exhaust pipe for mud. The backfiring means you're running lean with a clogged vent tube or primary jet; if the tube is clogged, chances are the jet is too.
Since the jets are so small sometimes the best way to clean them is replace them.
I'd still check the exhaust pipe too, if the pipe has mud in it; the pipe will overheat and the engine will run hot and rough, because it can't push the exhaust gases out properly.

Hey mudrooster, how long have you owned your 07 BB? What are the good points and bad points? Would you purchase it again? Oh and did you get it running right, and what was the problem? I'm looking at purching a BB and any info you have would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks
