Hello, My brother owns a 99 wolverine with very little km's on it. When he rides it it will bog down every once and a while but then after riding for some time it will finally just quit (stalls out) and then there won't be any spark from the spark plug when you check it but then the next day after if you try to see if it starts it will start up like nothing happened but it will do it again if you go riding for a hour or so, so we called to our local dealer and the mechanic said to take apart and clean all the electrical components on it so if anyone else has any other ideas it would be very appreciated if you could provide some other probable solutions to fixin this quad (it has been doing this for about a month now so we are getting very frustrated with the quad)

Thanks

Have you/your brother replaced the spark plug? Changed the fuel? Cleaned the air filter?

We put a new spark plug in it just 2 weeks ago and we did try the old one to see if the new plug is faulty but they both do exactly the same thing so we think it isn't the sparkplug. And we use the same fuel in our grizzly and my warrior and they run fine. And if my memory serves me right the air filter was done just a couple months ago.
Thanks for reply and I will post on here as soon as we get it fixed (we are cleaning all the electrical stuff as I type this)

Thanks

sounds like it could be the stator breaking down under a load.

I had a 98' and a 00' wolf and had to replace the stator on both of them. It test fine until it get hot and is put under a load. But you can also check the air filter. With mine after I put the FMF pipe on it I had to drill holes in the air box so it could breath. Before I did that it would Flood and die a lot.
