Default Blaster engine mods?

What are some good engine wake up mods for the blaster besides pipe and intake. Is the vitos or any other 240 kit worth the money on these. Im building the bike up for my girlfriend who wants to flat track it and be able to keep up with some of her friends 400ex's that race out there. Dont care much about top end just need to be fast out of the turns. Also i have heard that the raptor shocks will bolt up to this bike, is that true?

P.S. the reason that im building this up instead of just buying a ex or z or something is because its a 1999 and i got it in almost flawless condition for $500.
Thanks for any advise

Look up flotek, He has made some power out of blaster engines. He is also very affordable. Send him an e-mail he may have some parts laying around.

Get the head shaved down. It will be the most powerful $50 you will spend. Also, get the cylinder ported and polished.
